Chapuis et Chapuis
Burgundy
Romain and Jean-Guillaume Chapuis are brothers based in Ladoix-Serrigny where they make a wide range of low intervention Burgundy wines. They own parcels in prestigious terroirs such as Savigny, Chorey, Aloxe-Corton, Corton Charlemagne and Bouzeron as well as having access to a wide range of terroirs via their network of trusted growers. Romain take care of the viticulture and winemaking and Jean Guillaume looks after the day to day running of the business.

Roman was a flying winemaker for 10 years, traveling all over the world and then returning for a three-year stint making wine for Philippe Pacalet. The Chapuis & Chapuis project started in 2009 with a goal of making serious but approachable wines with real drinkability. They have a strong focus on sustainable farming with most of the vineyards being farmed organically. All fermentations are spontaneous, relatively short aging in old oak, unfined, unfiltered and small doses of SO2 at bottling.
